The St. George Temple
We returned home last night from the wedding trip to St. George. Everything was wonderful and went well. I am so thankful that I was able to go and share this special time with Alison. It was great being with all of my sisters again!

Addison, aka Lightning McQueen, calls me Mater quite often. On this trip I was demoted, however, and had to share my title with Perris, Ali's new husband. Previously, he was known as Ramone. During the days preceding the wedding she constantly called him Mater and expected everyone to know that's who she was referring to. I didn't mind too much, but the day after the wedding, Addison was sitting on the toilet having a conversation with me about her "tires" and how lightning mcqueen has a bum and she asks a question calling me by Mater. That's right, I am back to Mater status--at least until she sees Perris again!
Ella is Doc and James is known as a tractor. Addie loves pretending- she's such a character! I often slip and call her her real name and she'll say "You forgot I'm Lightning McQueen (or Marlin depending on the day)."

Lynds, me, Addison
You can't see the dresses too well (on Addie and Ella), but they are the ones I made! (with some assistance from my mom and sister). I'm glad they are completed. Now I need to start on the other projects I have lined up.
Last night, driving home from St. George, Addie kept telling me she was going to have an accident - meaning potty in her pants. I kind of ignored it because she was wearing a pull-up and Ella was sleeping and I did not want to stop when Ella was happy. (She has a hard time traveling in the car.) All of a sudden James looks back at her and poop is oozing out of her pull-up onto her leg. We quickly pull over and get her cleaned up. It was quite windy and she is standing there almost completely naked and says "I want to go potty on the rocks." Now, a little background info here - ever since she realized that animals go to the bathroom outside she has mentioned to me that she would like to try that. I always tell her that little girls don't go potty on the grass, they go on the toilet and she's accepted that. This time though she knew she had me. I helped her as she went and as soon as she was finished and cleaned up she turns to me and says "That was so fun" with a big smile on her face. :) This will always be remembered by her. Already she has mentioned to me several times the pottying on the rocks incident. Oh what a memory to have!
