Barefoot and Pregnant

Here is a picture of my 21-week pregnant belly and my 20-week-old developing baby.

For those who have not heard, we are having a baby GIRL! We will have two little girls running around the house soon enough. James and I are excited.

No names chosen yet. That will not be something we choose anytime soon, I think. We'll keep you updated though!

Two Spoons Please

Addison loves her food . . . most of the time. She thoroughly enjoyed this soup and requested two spoons - double the enjoyment I guess!

This is a typical bite for Addison. Open as wide as possible and shovel the food in. We often have to remind her to chew her food. :) Where did she learn this from??

Need I say more? :) Just look at those eyebrows, everything is concentrated on that bite.

Banana Phone

Addison loves to pretend to talk on the phone to her relations. This phone conversation is a fairly long one . . . then she decides it's time to eat the phone! :)

If you listen, you'll hear her talk about great grandma's house, how great grandma is funny, Cade, Aunt Cami, Katie, and Lyndsey; that's all I remember at the moment anyway.

It is really fun watching her try to mimic her mom and dad. In another conversation she kept saying great over and over. I'm sure she's heard me saying that on the phone!

Rub a Dub Dub

Addison loves tub time. We decided to play with her hair a bit the other day and she enjoyed the results. She can see her reflection in the faucet and often talks with it during the tub.

Her eyes are closed in most pictures nowadays because she thinks she is smiling when she says "cheese." It is pretty much an automatic response whenever she sees a camera.

The Many Faces of Addison

I can't remember why she was mad, but it's quite a face.
She loves to get a hold of daddy's stickers on his guitar case!
This would be purple crayon. If you ask me that would hurt.
Crazy baby, as Addison herself would say.

I'm not sure why Addison decided to fold her arms, but she did and I think it gives it just the right touch. When you get into mom's eyeliner you have to show you're sorry somehow! Also note the bulge in her onesie - those are about six colored pencils shoved down her shirt. Silly girl!
This one reminds me of water polo days and sticking grapes under our lips. However, it seems Addison doesn't need grapes to pull this look off!

Camping with the Fords

The Fords and the Harwards got together over the 4th of July weekend for a little camping. It was fun . . . despite the rough nights for all. :) The kids really enjoyed camping and hopefully they have some memories to remember.

The little town of Fairview has a museum with a replica of a woolly mammoth that was found not too far from the museum! It was pretty massive! The original isn't displayed because the bones never fossilized.

James and Addison on our exploring adventure in the woods. We were following an animal trail of some sort - probably deer.

Addison and Brinly had a blast in the tall grass and the beautiful flowers.

Cami preparing something - maybe dinner?

Shane getting all the help he needs to set up the tent!

A Day at the Zoo

On Monday, James, Addison, and I were able to go visit the animals at the Zoo! We had a fun day with the elephants, zebras, bears, tigers, birds, giraffes, etc. Addison really enjoyed her first trip to the Zoo, despite smelling a bit sour all day because she got car sick on the way. :) It's always an adventure with this girl!

Visiting the elephants.

We wore the poor girl out and she slept all the way home!
